Those baby turnips really shine in farm to table pioneer Deborah Madison’s easy recipe for this thick soup or potage. Save the greens to add at the end for extra flavor and a pop of color.

This Polish Hunters Stew, known as bigos, chases off the December chill with a laundry list of hearty ingredients that include the Bag’s cabbage and tomatoes.

Harleston’s storage tips: If greens or herbs o f any kind begin to wilt at any point or at pick up, put them in a big bowl of ice water for 20-30 minutes.  Almost all produce is washed and should go in the refrigerator. Lettuce mix stays in it's bag.  Broccolini, squash, parsley, cabbage, and turnip greens in a plastic bag.  Mandarins in the fridge, and turnip roots in a bag for extended keeping.  Tomatoes on the counter.
