Holy Cow Yoga Center

A home for the physical and spiritual self, Holy Cow Yoga Center has provided me with a steady course and online community—a pathway through the pandemic from the early lockdown days, when so many of us went virtual, to the present. Founded by Trace Sahaja Bonner, Holy Cow has been voted Best Yoga Studio by the readers of Charleston City Paper for 17 of the past 18 years.

Bonner began her practice more than 27 years ago. A registered E-RYT 500 hour and certified Advanced Integral Yoga teacher, she credits Sri Swami Satchidananda for influencing her practice. Bonner studied in India and the US, and continues to draw from a variety of great teachers in the West. She takes workshops with a host of contemporary Yoga teachers to deepen her personal understanding of Yoga. She believes Yoga is about having fun with the journey, so she enjoys bringing a lighthearted teaching style to all levels of Yoga classes, Teacher Trainings, Meditation Workshops and Yoga Sutra Study (Raja Yoga).

Explore Holy Cow’s descriptions of classes and teachers to find the right pathway for you. Online classes have become a new normal at the West Ashley studio—a positive addition to in-person classes.

Namaste!

Sign up for a special February 13 event, The Practice of Loving Kindness with Steven Willard, exploring the complexities of the heart.

What would it be like to love ourselves for who we are and to extend that love to those around us? And what if we were to extend unconditional love to all beings?” Read more
